How to prepare

Prep depends on the area being scanned. If it includes the gallbladder, liver or pancreas, have nothing to eat or drink for 6–8 hours. Call us if you're unsure.

What to expect

Get an order from your healthcare provider, then call (704) 896-9798 to schedule.
A sonographer registered through the ARDMS performs your exam.
A radiologist reads it. The reading fee is included in your self-pay price.
